As original designer of Soli as well as one of the reviewers of SoliDesign Innovation Contest I am thrilled to announce its resounding success. SoliDesign expressed a wish to engage, challenge, inspire, and reward followers of creative work, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Over 200 submissions from Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and Macau were processed and the feedback was well-received. Good job!

The diverse collection of works represents the limitless possibilities of creativity, but it also reflects the unlimited potential of togetherness. Some remained faithful and revised with careful thought while others showed ingenuity and promoted radical changes. Either way, both do service, and not just in regards to image development for Soli and SoliDesign, but in support of art and design for innovation, creation, and development. Well done!

The following commentary is for Competition A but relatable to Competition B. Criteria was essentially two-fold: role/setting and body structure. According to the original intentions of Soli, an anime-inspired charming/cute girl, a veritable portrayal of this theme was a main requirement. Presentation determined by appearance displaying exuberance, youth, and innocence was also a top consideration. In addition, composing the subject's head-to-body ratio correctly to depict an accurate assessment of supposed body structure was imperative. Lines of muscles and bones exemplifying curves should provoke a natural look. There should be a reflection of reality. As a general guideline in 3D design, posture is indispensable.
